My name is Robert Paragasam, and I know how to make the internet work
for me. I
am not a programmer, nor do I know all the fancy programming language.
And I
certainly don’t consider myself as a guru.
However,
I do know what most others don’t. I know how to make money on
the internet, and
today, I am going to share that

I
didn’t always have this knowledge. This is the secret that is
kept in the inner
circle of the internet millionaires. I had to undergo a long, tough and
expensive journey to get this secret in my grasp. Today, I am letting
it go, so
that you can have it too.
Before
I begin, let me share with you, that I have always been interested in
finding
ways to make money easily. Isn’t everyone?
I
want to make money easily because I want to have the time to do the
things that
I enjoy. I want to live my life to the fullest by exploring and
experiencing
life as much as possible. The idea that I have to spend a major part of
my life
working hard for money and use the little time that is left for living
does not
sound exciting to me.
When
I was young, I thought education was the key to becoming wealthy. So I
pushed
myself to get a degree in mechanical engineering. Then I thought that a
degree
might not be sufficient, so I pushed myself more, and got myself a
Masters in the
same field.
Only
after graduating, did I realize that no job could pay me the kind of
money that
I was interested in. And if I did get into a job, then that would put
me smack back
in square one. I do not want to be working hard for peanuts.
So
I thought to myself, since my qualification and a job, will not get me
to where
I want to go, then maybe I should start a company and get into business
by
myself.
And
so my entrepreneurial journey began.
I
started a small technology company and put my heart and soul in it. I
saw the
company grow and mature. For four years I built the company, and
expanded it
further. I became the ‘Group General Manager’ and
even had a fancy name card.
However, I absolutely had no time. I worked 18 hour days, and I worked
7 days a
week. Other than the fancy name card, I had no life.
One
fine morning, I woke up and suddenly it dawned upon me that I was not
living my
dreams. I decided to get my life back on track and pursue my real
destiny.
Without
thinking twice, I resigned from my companies.
It
was at this time that I was introduced to the world of Multi Level
Marketing. When
the MLM idea was first presented to me, it blew me away. I thought that
the
concept was fabulous and that is was an ideal way of creating untold
wealth.
I
jumped right in.
I
started building my network. I faced daily rejections and objections.
There was
even a time that I was thrown out of someone house because I spoke
about MLM to
them. I persevered, and continued building my network. I worked harder
in my
MLM business than I worked in my corporate companies.
In
4 years, I built a network of more than 2000 people in 5 countries. I
became
the emcee, speaker and trainer for my network and also the company.
I
was flying high, but that came with an incredibly high price. In those
four
years, I had to rebuild my network 3 times. I had train and motivate
people
over and over again. I had to attend and host trainings, meetings, home
parties
and events.
I
gave cash incentives to keep people motivated. And I had to keep living
a façade,
that everything was okay, even when it was not. I realized that the
more
successful that I became, the less personal time I had.
But
did I make money in MLM? Oh yes I did. I made lots of it. But I
certainly
didn’t have the lifestyle that I wanted. I needed a change.
This
is when I started exploring the internet. I became so curious when I
started
reading about the young internet millionaires who seemed to have
perfected the
art of getting money from the internet.
As
I surfed more, I found that there were many individuals who call
themselves
internet marketers who were able to make more in a month than what I
made in a
year. This intrigued me, and I wanted to find their secret.
I
thought I could find the answer by googling it. When I google
“internet
millionaires” I will usually get thousands of hits.
And
when I clicked on the links, I would be taken to a page, where the
expert or
guru, would have prepared a long message filled with testimonies on how
the
system or strategy that he or she has, has made him or her a lot of
money. I
would then be asked to buy their product or their system that would
make me an
instant online success.
In
my naivety and my desire to learn, I will usually part with my hard
earned
money to buy that promise, hoping that it will bring me the success
that I am
looking for. Unfortunately, as I will usually learn later, that
“promise” usually
doesn’t work.
As
I continued exploring further, I found courses and seminar that were
conducted
by savvy internet marketers or online gurus. They usually had killer
taglines
for their courses and I fell for them.
I
spent thousands attending these seminars, which are usually packed with
thousands of people who were just like me, eager and determined to
learn the
elusive truth about internet marketing.
I
was hoping to learn that little secret, or that missing ingredient that
would
set me free for life. However, when the gurus shared their secrets, I
realized
that I already knew most of what they shared through my googling
activities.
And
I kept going. I just wanted to be a able to tap into the internet and
make it
work for me. I continued trying out different strategies.
One
of my strategies was to improve the way my website looked like. So I
hired web
designers to design beautiful sites for me. I paid thousands for their
services. As I waited, nothing happened. My beautiful website, didn't
generate
traffic, and certainly didn't generate sales.
I
was beginning to think to myself that maybe I will never be able to
make money
from the internet. I knew that I was missing a key ingredient, and
without that
ingredient, my online business will never work for me.
One
fine day, a few months ago, as I was surfing the internet, I found a
picture of
a cheque. That cheque was for USD17,521.
The recipient’s name
was blacked out
except for the first three letters.
The
image of that cheque made my eyes light up, and my heart beat a little
faster. Somehow
or rather looking at that cheque gave me an intense believe that the
online business
was the way to go if I ever wanted to live the life of my dreams.
At
that precise moment a thought came into my mind. It was a very powerful
thought. I wanted to meet the owner of the cheque and learn from him.

And
within 3 weeks I found him. I spent two days of my life learning from
him. He
became my mentor, and showed me how to truly tap and
harness the power
that is contained within the internet.
He showed me the missing parts
that
completed the jigsaw puzzle. And finally I knew it! I was able to grasp
it! And
best of all, I was able to use it! |
